The Salt Lake City Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit recently executed a search warrant in Davis County, leading to the seizure of approximately 80 pounds of concentrated THC. These potent concentrates, which can contain THC levels between 40% and 80%, resemble substances like honey or butter. They are known for their stronger psychological and physical effects on users, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

Detectives are working alongside prosecutors to determine potential charges, which may include child endangerment and obstruction of justice, though further details have not been disclosed at this time.
This operation is part of a broader investigation led by the Salt Lake City Police Department, with authorities continuing to probe the circumstances surrounding the recovery.
