FARMINGTON, Utah – Lagoon Amusement Park has postponed the start of its 2025 season, citing concerns over unfavorable weather conditions.
Originally set to welcome guests this weekend, the park now plans to open on March 29 at 10 a.m., provided the weather cooperates. The season is expected to run through Nov. 2, 2025.
In a statement, park officials emphasized that the decision to delay was made to ensure the safety and enjoyment of both visitors and staff.

For those planning a visit, single-day admission prices are as follows:
-
General Admission – Approximately $105 (after taxes and fees)
-
Seniors – Around $100

Park Updates and New Attractions
Lagoon, which has been operating since 1886 and attracts over a million guests annually, features more than 55 rides, a historic pioneer village, and a waterpark.
This year, the park is making some changes, including the closure of the zoo associated with the Wild Kingdom Train ride. Many of the animals have already been relocated.
However, guests can look forward to two new additions:
-
Carousel Candy – A shop offering a variety of sweets and unique treats
-
Peacock Parlour – A dessert destination featuring ice cream, gelato, shakes, and other frozen delights
As opening day approaches, park officials encourage visitors to stay updated on weather conditions to ensure a smooth start to the 2025 season .
