OGDEN, UTAH – A nightclub security guard has been arrested in connection with the death of a man who was allegedly involved in a dispute over unpaid tacos, according to court documents.
Martin Esparza Espinoza, 56, faces a second-degree felony manslaughter charge related to the incident, which occurred outside an Ogden nightclub. Authorities say Espinoza was working security at the establishment when a confrontation broke out between club personnel and the victim.

Documents state that the altercation began when the victim, who reportedly refused to pay for tacos, became involved in a physical fight with nightclub security. Espinoza and two other security guards were allegedly part of the scuffle.
Following the altercation, the security guards left the man lying in the middle of Washington Boulevard, a busy roadway. Moments later, a vehicle exiting a nearby parking lot struck the man.
Authorities confirmed that the victim died from severe injuries sustained in the collision.
