Holly Rowe Offers Support to LA Fire Victims with Generous Gesture

Amid the devastation and heartbreak caused by recent wildfires in Los Angeles, acts of bravery and compassion have been shining through. One such act came from ESPN reporter and play-by-play announcer Holly Rowe, who offered a helping hand to those affected by the fires.

On Saturday, Rowe took to X (formerly Twitter) to extend a heartfelt offer to fire victims who had been displaced.

“If you are displaced due to LA fires, we all want to help. I have room for 8 people in Salt Lake City,” Rowe wrote. “It’s a 9-hour drive. I can pay for gas or flights. We all feel helpless and want to do something. Please reach out. Will help if I can.”

The wildfires in Los Angeles had already consumed over 37,000 acres by Saturday, with 11 reported deaths, thousands of homes destroyed, and tens of thousands of people forced to evacuate their homes.

Rowe’s offer was especially meaningful, as some in the sports media community have also experienced the devastating loss of their homes or had to evacuate. Rowe’s act of kindness stood out as a beacon of generosity during a time of uncertainty and loss. Many took notice of her gesture, appreciating her willingness to help those in need during such a difficult time.
