Community Urged to Help Salt Lake City Police Investigate Glendale Shooting
Salt Lake City – The Salt Lake City Police Department is asking for public assistance in their investigation of a shooting that took place in the Glendale neighborhood on January 3, 2025. The incident occurred around 3:51 p.m. near 1700 South Prospect Street.
Officers responding to the scene found a 38-year-old man with a gunshot wound. They immediately provided lifesaving aid, and the man was transported to the hospital by paramedics. His injuries are serious but stable, and are not expected to be life-threatening, according to the police.

Initial investigations indicate that the man had been involved in an argument with several individuals, which escalated into a shooting. The suspects fled the scene before police arrived, and there is currently no suspect information available.
