What is General Conference?

The event consists of four general sessions open to everyone, while one session is traditionally reserved for priesthood holders and women of the Church.
How to Watch
For those unable to attend in person, the General Conference will be streamed live on:
- The General Conference YouTube Channel
- The Gospel Library app
- Other Church media platforms
All individuals, regardless of religious background, are invited to watch, listen, and engage in the messages shared during the conference.
A Longstanding Tradition
General Conferences have been a core tradition of the Latter-day Saint faith since 1830, shortly after the Church’s establishment by Joseph Smith. These gatherings originally provided a space for believers to come together, hear uplifting messages, and affirm their support for Church leaders—a tradition that continues to this day .
