Tragic Death: Wyoming Girl Shot by Mother Passes Away in Utah

A 7-year-old girl from Wyoming, who was critically injured in a shooting involving her mother, has passed away. Olivia died on Saturday, according to an update shared by her family through a GoFundMe page set up to cover her medical and funeral expenses.

The heartbreaking message on the GoFundMe page reads:

“Olivia is now with her sisters. She gained her angel wings at 3:44 pm yesterday. She fought so hard until the very end. Her body and brain endured more than anyone should have to, and while medication provided some relief, we reached a point where there were no more medical options available. Despite it all, Olivia kept fighting until her heart stopped. We are grateful for the precious time we were able to spend with her in her final days. Thank you all for your prayers and support during this incredibly difficult time. We’re struggling with the loss of both our daughters, and while we’ve taken some time to grieve as a family, we wanted to share this with you. Olivia and Brailey were so loved by all of us, and we will carry that love with us. Please continue to pray for us as we navigate this unbearable tragedy, one day at a time.”

The shooting took place on February 10 in the small town of Byron, Wyoming. Olivia, her 9-year-old sister Brailey, and two younger siblings, 2-year-old Brooke and 2-year-old Jordan, were all victims of the incident. Their mother, 32-year-old Tranyelle Harshman, called 911 to report the shooting, before taking her own life just before law enforcement arrived at the scene.

Two of the girls were found dead at the scene, while the third girl, Olivia, was rushed to a hospital in Utah. She fought for several days, but ultimately passed away. The mother, who had also shot herself, died later in the hospital. The family is left grieving the loss of their two daughters in this tragic, heartbreaking event.
