Authorities in Utah are investigating the death of a hiker who was discovered on the Canyon Overlook Trail in Zion National Park early Sunday morning, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
Emergency responders received a report around 7 a.m. on February 2 about a possible fall within the park. Hurricane Valley Fire and Rescue arrived on the scene and located a deceased male hiker. By 7:40 a.m., officials determined there was nothing that could be done to save him.
Zion National Park rangers, along with search and rescue teams, assisted in the recovery efforts. Detectives from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office have since launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
In a statement, the sheriff’s office expressed appreciation for the coordinated response efforts, thanking Hurricane Valley Fire and Rescue, Zion Park Rangers, and the Zion Technical Search and Rescue team.
Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity as the investigation continues.

She does have a life (probably) but she can't think of anything to write in here, so she's probably just going to ramble now. She has an orange cat who she likes better than any human. If you see her being quiet or not sitting on top of a desk, there is something very wrong. In her free time she enjoys harassing her favorite teachers and sleeping. Her life plans include making it through high school and leaving. Happy lifeing.
