
Salt Lake City police arrested a man Monday night after discovering stolen electronics, a firearm, and illegal drugs in his possession.
According to authorities, officers responded to a report of stolen electronics at a residence on 1391 S. Utahna Cir. Upon arrival, they noticed a vehicle running nearby and approached the driver.

Inside the car, officers spotted electronics that matched the description of the stolen items. The driver, later identified as 40-year-old Jerami Esquibel, was found to have an active felony warrant. Further investigation revealed he was also in possession of a stolen handgun, methamphetamine, and cocaine.
Esquibel was taken into custody and booked into the Salt Lake County Metro Jail. He now faces multiple charges, including drug possession with intent to distribute, firearm theft, general theft, and driving without a license.
Salt Lake City Police continue to investigate the incident.
