Get Cash from $1.6M Data Breach Settlement: Claim Up to $5.1K
A class action lawsuit settlement worth $1.6 million is now available to thousands of Americans who were affected by a 2022 data breach involving Nonstop Administration and Insurance Services. Over 8,500 individuals are eligible to receive compensation due to the breach, which exposed personal data such as names, addresses, Social Security numbers, medical record numbers, health plan IDs, and prescription information.
The lawsuit, filed in San Francisco in 2023, accuses the company of failing to adequately protect sensitive information, leaving it vulnerable to a massive and preventable cyberattack. Although the company identified the breach in December 2022, victims were not informed until February 2023, which further fueled the lawsuit’s claims.
In order to settle the case, Nonstop Administration has agreed to pay $1.6 million, though the company denies any wrongdoing. Victims whose data was compromised will be able to file claims for compensation, with amounts varying based on the type of claim.

Those who suffered financial losses, including bank fees, identity theft, or fraud, are prioritized for payments. These individuals may receive up to $5,000, provided they can submit evidence, such as bank statements or credit reports, to support their claims. Additionally, class members who prefer an alternative payment option can receive a pro-rated sum, likely around $50, though the final amount may fluctuate depending on the number of claims filed.
California residents who lived in the state between December 2022 and February 2025 are also eligible for an extra $100 under the California Consumer Privacy Act. To receive this payment, claimants must provide proof of their address during the specified period.
Beyond financial compensation, Nonstop Administration has pledged to improve its security measures to prevent future cyberattacks.
Claims must be submitted by February 12, 2025, and can be filed online. The deadline for exclusion or objection passed on January 13, 2025. Those who did not object must file their claim by the deadline or forfeit their right to compensation, as well as any future legal action related to the breach.
