Police Pursuit Ends with Arrest of Motorcyclist at 112 MPH in Southern Utah
A man was arrested on suspicion of felony evading after reportedly fleeing from a police officer in Washington.
The incident began on Sunday afternoon when the officer spotted a white motorcycle speeding east on Southern Parkway. With emergency lights flashing, the officer attempted to pull the rider over around 2 p.m.

However, the motorcyclist allegedly accelerated to 112 mph, seemingly trying to evade capture, according to the officer’s report. The officer noted the bike’s license plate but decided to discontinue the pursuit near mile marker 3 for safety reasons, as outlined in the probable cause statement supporting the arrest.
