Americans Can Claim $5,000 from Data Breach Settlement – Just a Receipt Needed!

A data breach settlement could provide one-time payments of up to $5,000 to individuals affected by a 2023 security breach at Morrison Community Hospital.

The Illinois-based 25-bed critical access hospital faced allegations of failing to protect patient data, which reportedly led to the exposure of names, addresses, Social Security numbers, birth dates, and medical records. While Morrison Community Hospital has denied any wrongdoing, it has agreed to a $675,000 settlement to resolve the claims.

Who Is Eligible?

Patients whose information was compromised in the September 24, 2023, breach would have received a mailed notification from Morrison Community Hospital.
