Medical Emergency Leads to Fatal Crash, Police Confirm
A 66-year-old driver died Sunday afternoon after experiencing a medical emergency and crashing off the road, the West Jordan Police Department reported.
Det. Alondra Zavala stated the incident occurred on the northbound lanes of Mountain View Corridor near 9000 South. The driver, who was having a medical emergency, lost control of his vehicle and veered off the road.

The man was transported to the hospital but later died from his injuries.
The northbound lane was closed for several hours for investigation but has since been reopened. There were no other vehicles involved and no additional injuries reported.
