Salt Lake City Police Request Community Help in Glendale Shooting Investigation
Salt Lake City – The Salt Lake City Police Department is seeking help from the community as they investigate a shooting that took place in the Glendale neighborhood. The incident occurred at 3:51 p.m. on Friday, January 3, 2025, near 1700 South Prospect Street.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 38-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. They provided immediate lifesaving assistance before paramedics transported the man to a hospital. He is currently in serious but stable condition, and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, as stated in a department press release.

Initial investigations indicate that the victim was involved in a dispute with several individuals, which escalated into a shooting. The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival, and no suspect information is available at this time.
