
SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah – Authorities are investigating a tragic incident that left an 8-year-old child dead and a 40-year-old woman fighting for her life in Saratoga Springs on Friday morning.
According to Saratoga Springs Police, officers responded to a 911 call from a home on Willowbrook Lane on March 28. Upon arrival, they discovered the child had succumbed to injuries, while the woman was found in extremely critical condition and transported to a hospital.
Investigators revealed that a 15-year-old was present at the residence during the incident. Additionally, a 17-year-old, who was not home at the time, returned later and made the emergency call, stating that someone was dead.
Authorities confirmed that all individuals involved reside in the same household. However, specific details regarding what transpired remain undisclosed as law enforcement officials continue their investigation.
Police are awaiting warrant authorization to conduct a full search of the home.
The case remains under active investigation, and further updates are expected as new information emerges.
