FARMINGTON, Utah — Lagoon Amusement Park has postponed its 2025 season opening, citing concerns over weather conditions for the weekend.
Originally scheduled to welcome visitors this weekend, the park has now set its opening date for March 29 at 10 a.m., pending favorable weather. The season is expected to run through Nov. 2, 2025.
Opening Delay and Ticket Prices
Lagoon officials stated that the decision to delay opening day was made to ensure both guest and staff safety.
For the 2025 season, general admission for a single day will cost around $105, including taxes and fees. Seniors can purchase tickets for approximately $100, while youth passes are priced at about $86.
Season passes are available at a reduced rate until June 2, costing roughly $230 with the pre-season discount. Daily parking costs $20 per vehicle, but visitors can opt for a season parking pass for around $88 after taxes.
Park History and Attractions
Established in 1886, Lagoon Amusement Park draws over a million visitors annually. It boasts more than 55 rides, a waterpark, live entertainment, and a historic pioneer village.
This season, the park is making changes to its attractions. The zoo featured in the Wild Kingdom Train ride will close, and many of its animals have already been relocated. However, two new additions are set to debut: Carousel Candy and Peacock Parlour.
-
Carousel Candy will provide guests with a variety of sweet treats and surprises.
-
Peacock Parlour will offer frozen desserts, including gelato, ice cream, and shakes.
While visitors will have to wait a bit longer for opening day, Lagoon is gearing up for an exciting season with fresh experiences and long-time favorite attractions.
