
HOOPER, Utah – An altercation between two juveniles on Saturday, March 15, resulted in one being critically injured and the other taken into custody, according to the Weber County Sheriff’s Office.
Incident Details
Deputies responded to a residential area in Hooper following reports of an aggravated assault. Officials stated that a confrontation between two male juveniles turned violent, leaving one with severe injuries.
Emergency responders transported the injured juvenile to a nearby hospital before transferring them to Primary Children’s Hospital, where they remain in critical condition as of Monday.
Suspect in Custody
Authorities arrested the other juvenile involved and placed them in a juvenile detention facility on multiple felony charges. Officials from the Weber Metro CSI, Weber County Sheriff’s Office, and Weber Fire District were present at the scene as part of the response.
