PROVO, Utah — Country music fans are in for a treat this summer as Rascal Flatts takes center stage at the 2025 Stadium of Fire celebration. The beloved trio is reuniting for a special 25th-anniversary tour, and their stop in Provo promises to be one of the biggest highlights of the summer.
Scheduled for July 4, 2025, the event will take place at LaVell Edwards Stadium on the Brigham Young University (BYU) campus. General ticket sales will begin on March 7, and attendees can purchase them through the Stadium of Fire website or BYU’s ticketing portal.
The band—featuring Gary LeVox (vocals), Joe Don Rooney (guitar), and Jay DeMarcus (multi-instrumentalist)—has dominated the country music scene for decades with chart-topping hits like “Life Is a Highway,” “Bless the Broken Road,” and “What Hurts the Most.” Their performance marks the first time Rascal Flatts will headline this patriotic celebration.
“This is a dream come true for so many fans,” said Jim Evans, executive director of America’s Freedom Festival. “We’ve wanted them here for years, and it’s finally happening!”
Since their debut in 2000, Rascal Flatts has sold over 23 million albums and racked up more than 40 major awards, including accolades from the CMA, ACM, and People’s Choice Awards.
What to Expect at Stadium of Fire 2025
Stadium of Fire isn’t just about the music—it’s an unforgettable patriotic celebration. Attendees can look forward to:
- A breathtaking fireworks show, known as one of the largest stadium displays in the U.S.
- A high-flying military jet flyover, honoring the nation’s armed forces.
- A state-of-the-art drone light show, adding a modern twist to the festivities.
Last year’s event faced an unexpected fireworks malfunction, which caused injuries in the audience and temporarily delayed the headline act. Following an investigation, officials determined that a technical issue within the fireworks tubes was to blame—rather than human error. In response, the Provo Fire Marshal confirmed that the faulty pyrotechnics will no longer be used in future events.
