
A man was taken into custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) near Salt Lake City International Airport, authorities confirmed.
According to Brent Weisberg of the Salt Lake Police Department, the arrest took place on Monday morning around 8:15 a.m.
Details of the Arrest
The man was stopped by ICE agents on a road leading to the airport’s car rental return area, where he was subsequently taken into custody.
Salt Lake police officers arrived at the scene following the arrest. Weisberg stated that the individual had at least one active warrant and was possibly under investigation for additional offenses.
Suspect’s Identity Not Released
Authorities have not yet disclosed the man’s name or provided further details regarding the allegations against him.
