Authorities are investigating a fatal crash involving an elderly driver who collided with multiple homes in Eagle Mountain on Monday afternoon.
According to Sgt. Orgmond of the Utah County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place at approximately 2:10 p.m. near the intersection of Bald Eagle Way and Pony Express Boulevard. Officials reported that the man lost control of his vehicle and crashed into two residences.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene, but the driver was pronounced dead. Investigators suspect a medical emergency may have played a role in the accident, though it remains unclear whether the man’s death was a direct result of the crash or an underlying health condition.
Authorities are continuing to gather information, and further details have yet to be released.
