A 39-year-old man, identified as Zachary Holman, was taken into custody on Friday in connection with a fight that occurred the previous day in Salt Lake City.
According to a news release from the Salt Lake City Police Department (SLCPD), the altercation took place Thursday near 120 W 1300 South. Authorities reported discovering evidence linking Holman to the incident, which provided them with probable cause for his arrest.
Holman was formally charged with forcible sexual abuse, aggravated assault, and reckless endangerment. Police also stated that at the time of the alleged fight, he was on probation or parole, further complicating his legal situation.
Following the investigation, Holman was taken into custody on Friday. SLCPD has not released further details regarding the inciden.
