
Authorities in Santa Clara, Utah, are investigating a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred Friday night.
Incident Details
At approximately 6:50 p.m. on February 7, emergency responders were called to the intersection of Pioneer Parkway and Jacob Drive following reports of a pedestrian collision.
Upon arrival, first responders found an 83-year-old woman who had been hit by a vehicle. She was transported to St. George Regional Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Investigation Underway
- The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with law enforcement.
- The Santa Clara-Ivins Police Department and the Washington County Metro Accident Reconstruction Team are leading the investigation.
- The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
