
A large team of firefighters responded to a blaze in Ogden on Saturday morning, February 1, after a structure fire was reported in the 2600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.
At approximately 8:15 a.m., crews from Ogden Fire arrived to find a storage unit engulfed in smoke and flames. According to a press release from Ogden Fire, one individual at the scene alerted responders to the presence of an empty propane tank and a small gas canister inside the structure, prompting fire officials to take additional safety measures.
More than 20 firefighters from Ogden Fire, Riverdale Fire, and Roy Fire quickly joined forces to tackle the fire and bring it under control. Fortunately, their swift response helped prevent further damage, and no injuries were reported.
