Officials Search for Missing 79-Year-Old Man Last Seen in Woods Cross

A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Utah man, 79-year-old Etuate Folau Taumoepeau, who was last seen on Saturday, February 1, around 11 a.m. near his home in Woods Cross. He was dressed in black slacks, a black-and-brown jacket, a black baseball cap, and black tennis shoes at the time of his disappearance.

Etuate is described as approximately 6’2″ tall, weighing about 215 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last known to be driving a 2022 Hyundai Kona, Utah license plate 83DG5.

Officials believe he may have been heading to either the Home Depot in Centerville or Lucky’s in Salt Lake for a shopping trip.
